Busy Busy Weekend!

Wow we had a busy weekend. We celebrated my cousin Gwen's 18th birthday. Well I was asleep during the party. These people stay up WAY TOO LATE. But, I did get to hang out with my cousin for a little bit before bedtime and take some pictures. Mommy told me they had fun and were joking around a lot while I was upstairs asleep. I guess when I get bigger I can have fun with them too!!! Here is a picture of my crazy daddy, my uncles and Gwen. They are too funny.



My Titi Chell also came for the birthday party and whoa she made these cinnamon rolls "from scratch" that is what mommy kept saying. I guess that means they are really good because everyone had TWO and they were big, waaay too big for me. I helped Titi Chell. Check it out, mommy said I was supervising from my high chair! LOL

It was a lazy Sunday, which is nice I get to spend so much time with mommy and daddy! Mommy kept saying every once in a while that she doesn't want to go to work tomorrow. She squeezes me, kisses me and then says that. I wish she and daddy could be home with me also. I have fun with my Tio Otto and Janette, but it would be nice for mommy and daddy to be there too.

Mommy says I am really strong! We were playing on the couch and she was counting "One, Two, Three" holding my hands and then I would stand up. That made me smile!! She took a video but was having a hard time loading it here. This video is better than the last one. So she said she was going to try later.

Oh and check out this picture, daddy and I were watching the Yankees play and he made a slide for me with his legs! He would lay be back and let me slide down his legs. Mommy was a little scared I would roll over, but daddy wouldn't let that happen. I mean, I was a little scared also, but I liked it and I trust daddy. Go Yankees!!

Football season also started and I have been told that I am a Giants fan. Who are these Giants? I guess I don't have a choice, but mommy says Dallas is the enemy. She says that when she talks to Titi Chell. Yeah I don't know WHAT she is talking about. But I know we are a Giants house and Titi Chell has another team. We will see who wins the game tonight. Well mommy and daddy will have to tell me in the morning! I'm going to bed...

Tickle Tickle Tickle

Mommy found a tickle spot! I was trying to keep it a secret because now I know they are never going to stop!!!! Ok this was the deal. I was laying down on the couch. Mommy had just finished cleaning my culi (tushi for the non-spanish speakers lol) and daddy was on the computer on the couch. Mommy just started tickling my belly. She started blowing air on my belly and making these weird funny sounds. She called it a "zerbert". Oh that was soooo funny! I was cracking up. I even let out a loud laugh. Mommy and daddy were dying on the couch. My mommy sat me up and started playing with me some more, but this time she was making a weird whistle sound! That was funny too! She recorded that one!!! I hope you can see the video. Oh we have been having a lot of fun.

Mommy and daddy have moved me into my nursery. I like my crib. My legs were getting scrunched up in the bassinet in mommy and daddy's room. I also have a really cool mobile that plays cool music and the lights are awesome!! I sleep with my little doggie. He is an awesome friend to have around. I like to pet him. I know he is not real, but he is sooooo soft. I am glad Mommy, Nino, and Lauren picked that one up for me. I have a cool night light also that Titi Chell bought for me. That really isn't for me, but it helps mommy come check on me and not have to put the light on. I really don't like when the light is turned on when I am sleeping....it's TOO BRIGHT!

Oh and we went Downtown this weekend. the North Carolina Symphony was playing in the park. There were a lot of people there and everyone kept checking me and my glasses out! I liked looking at all the people. It was fun. Then we went to El Rodeo the Mexican restaurant. Mommy said that was the first place that her and daddy went to eat when they moved here. All the waiters and waitresses were excited to see me. I guess mommy and daddy hadn't been there for a while. I didn't stay awake long. After I gave mommy a hard time....well I was uncomfortable, it was my bed time and we were still out! Mommy stripped me down, took off my shoes and my jeans and made me a little bed in my stroller so I could fall asleep, and I did after, like I said, I gave mommy a hard time! LOL that is my job sometimes. But it was a really cool day.

My First BBQ and Game of Dominoes

Good thing mommy and daddy decided to have a BBQ yesterday, because today is an ugly and rainy day. Daddy said Labor Day is a day to relax so we were all relaxing! Check out my belly picture hehehe... I was just taking it easy on mommy's lap.

It was me, mommy, daddy, Tio Otto, Titi Jeanette, and my cousin Gwen. Mommy was cooking on the grill, Tio and daddy were playing dominoes and I wanted to get into the game, so daddy put me on his lap to play. Mommy says I get my serious side from my daddy and my "smile boy" side from her.

We had a lot of fun. I really like being outside. The sun gets a little bright sometimes, but my family makes sure my eyes are protected. Yeah I like this BBQ thing. They are fun. My family gets together outside, everyone is laughing, the music is playing and everyone wants to give me hugs and take pictures of me..oh yeah this is great. I wonder when the next one will be!!

Mommy Went to Work...

Wow a lot has been going on!! I went to the pool for the first time at Titi Chell's house and I got to meet my Titi Kristy. That was fun. I am going to put some pictures so you can see me with my toes in the water. It was kind of like my bath, but the water wasn't as warm. Mommy was really worried about making sure I wasn't in the sun so she kept covering me with her body. She said my skin to too sensitive now to be out in the sun. She said next year we will go the beach. Daddy keeps talking about that. I guess it will be fun. He says we are going to play in the waves. Mommy looks at him funny when he says that and says I am too little. I guess we have to wait until next summer.


Well I saw mommy this morning. She gave me hugs and kisses got me dressed and then gave me to Tio Otto to give me my milk. She gave me another kiss, said God bless you and then she said she had to go to work. She looked like she was crying. I don't know what this work thing is, but I am hanging out with my Tio and Titi Jeanette today. Maybe mommy is where daddy goes during the day. I only see daddy after mommy and I have been playing and hanging out a long time together.


Oh I am eating really well. I can take up to 6 oz on the bottle, but I do that when I feel like it. It's not all the time. I think that bothers mommy and daddy, but sometimes I am just not that hungry. Sorry guys


And listen to this, okay mommy does this weird thing with her lips. She calls them fish kisses! She looks soooo funny when she does it that it makes me laugh right away. She said mom-mom used to do that all the time. When she does it, I try to do it also. I can't do it yet, but I tighten my lips a little and that makes mommy laugh soooo hard!!


Okay gotta go. Tio said he was going to read me this book about mortgages. I don't know what that is at all, but he said it is good for me to learn. I hope it is not boring. Maybe after that he will read me one of my Seasame Street books.

What In The World!!!!

Okay, I have been poked and prodded and had teams of doctors working on me, but what in the world is it with those IMMUNIZATION SHOTS!!! MY LORD! Where was the anesthesia???? That nurse just went at it. One shot, Two shots, THREE shots!!! one right after another. I mean I know that they are good and keep me safe from all these other dieases and colds and stuff, but again WHERE WAS THE ANESTHESIA???? Even something local??? But NOOOOOOO nothing. Mommy told me it wouldn't be bad and that I have been through worse, but YEAH RIGHT! She doesn't know ANYTHING! Well she knows a lot, but I guess not everything, because those hurt.

Well I cried, of course. But then mommy picked me up, gave me the bo bo and rocked me and I started to fall asleep. I actually even fell asleep in the car. Mommy was a little nervous because she thought I would be screaming for a while, but I guess it was just the shock of those three needles and I just crashed. When we got home mommy gave me my milk and I drank all 4 oz and fell back asleep.

Here you can check out my Band - Aids. I have Bugs Bunny on one thigh and Daffy Duck on the other. Yeah they look cute, but they don't help with the pain. I don't know why they try to make it look better than it is. Well at least I don't have to go back there until I am a big man of 4 months!

Anything Look Different???

I know the picture is a little fuzzy, but mommy was using her camera on her phone while I was on the couch and she did the best she could. NOTICE ANYTHING DIFFERENT????? No tube!!!! Mommy and daddy pulled it yesterday morning. I have been drinking all of my milk from the bottle. I have even had up to 5 oz. Mommy and daddy were so happy. So was Titi Arelis. She was here from Florida, because we moved my cousin Gwen in to her dorm room at NC State. That was kind of cool. Mommy kept saying that I will be going to college, no questions asked. She said there is no option. I only have the option to choose the school. Ok mom, I think this is a bit early, but ok!

So we went to Gwen's room and put everything away, I took a nap while everyone else worked. Then we went out for pizza and then we went to Big Lots. Mommy said this is Titi Chell and Tia Kenia's favorite store. Mommy bought me some books, but they didn't get much else. That was our biggest and longest day out, other than our hospital visits. It was awesome!! Daddy wants to go to Charlotte this weekend and go to Titi Chell's pool. I am excited to see what that is all about, though mommy said I can't be out in the sun.
